Dr. Luis Zayas is an experienced neurologist with advanced training in movement disorders, epilepsy, stroke, and neurocritical care. His healthcare career began in physical therapy, giving him a multidisciplinary perspective on neurological conditions, rehabilitation, mobility, and overall patient function.
Dr. Zayas completed training in internal medicine and neurology, followed by additional experience in neurocritical care and a fellowship in movement disorders. His clinical interests include Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, stroke, headache medicine, behavioral neurology, dementia, and neurohospital medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine, neurology, and epilepsy.
