 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Akhtar is a fantastic cardiologist. My wife was having chest pain and symptoms consistent with pericarditis. I got her into contact with him on a Saturday morning as his phone was on-call for the TN Heart Clinic. He was able to see my wife just a few hours after her call. He did a full EKG and ECG work up and was able to give her a diagnosis. He went out of his way to help her with her acute flare-up of pericarditis. Excellent bedside manner and great pricing for out-of-pocket care! We can’t recommend him enough.

He is a Great Cardiologist, very knowledgeable and has expertise in managing complicated cases which makes him unique among his peers.
